On 16 June 2016 Kifaru Parish organizes 3 days Faith Formation residential summer camp for parish children from class 4 to 8. 3 days camp began on 16th morning 10.30 am at the premises of St. Joseph boys’ Science Secondary School.
Fr. Alwyn M.J. D’Souza, Mission Superior of SAME mission inaugurated the camp and in his message he called the children to understand the love of God& to come closer to the God through this camp. Fr. Victor Machado conducted the prayer service. Mr. Bonaventura Maro, Sr. Mary P, Fr. Jason & sisters from Marian convent were present for the inauguration. Parish Priest Fr. Hilary Lobo welcomed all & Mrs. Leonardo Lagua thanked everyone.
Holy Eucharist, Morning & Evening prayer, Exercise, Sessions on Bible, Confession, Sacraments, Health, Family, Importance of Education, Singing, Dance, Indoor & Outdoor games, action songs, Movies, were the part of the camp.
Sisters from Marian Convent helped to conduct the sessions& Games, Brother Lanson and youth conducted the outdoor games and action songs. Parish women group members helped to smooth running of this camp. Total 75 children from 5 substations of Kifaru parish participated in this camp, 3 days camp lasted on 18th noon by lunch.
