SMAM: On Sunday 14th of August the people of ‘Kileo’ the substation of Kifaru parish witnessed the Holy Sacrament of Baptism & Matrimony. Indeed it was a joyful & grace filled day for the faithful of Kileo outstation.
During the Sunday Holy Eucharist, Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Hilary Lobo bestowed the holy sacrament of Baptism to 3 children & to an adult. “Baptism is the one sacrament that all Christian denominations share in common. In the Catholic Church, infants are baptized to welcome them into the Catholic faith and to free them from the original sin they were born with”.
After giving the sacrament of baptism; parish priest blessed the couple with holy sacrament of matrimony. “The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament."
These sacraments not only make them amalgamated but also make them to feel the love of Lord to his people. Through its Spiritual services, the priests of SMA Mission are helping the people to fulfil their spiritual needs of God’s people.
