Place: Mary Immaculate Conception Parish Kifaru
On Saturday 10th of December 2016, a day long Small Christian Community (SCC) training program was organised for the ward (Jumuya) leaders of Mary Immaculate Conception Parish Kifaru in the parish compound. Mr. Evans Limo a well-known trainer from the Diocese of Moshi was the resource person of the day.
Program began at 10 a.m. with the prayer service led by parish priest Rev. Fr. Hilary Lobo, followed by welcoming the resource person and other participants. Rev. Fr. Alwyn M J D’Souza, Mission Superior welcomed Mr. Evans with garland. Then Mr. Evans spoke on various topics like what is SCC, How to make SCC active and lively, how to support parish through SCC. Then he led the whole group to practical SCC method, group discussion, question and answer and evaluation.
Program ended at 4 p.m. with prayer service followed by vote of thanks. Lunch was organised for all the participants. Total 60 leaders were present for the program.
