New Year 2019 in Kifaru Parish of Same Diocese in Tanzania

Jan 01: The parishioners along with the priests and religious gathered around the Eucharistic table at 7.30 p.m. on 31, December 2018, to thank God for the blessings received in the year 2018. Around 150 people gathered in Kifaru church. After one hour of adoration, the Holy Eucharist was celebrated. Fr. Hilary Lobo the parish priest presided over the Eucharist and gave the word of God. Fr. Alwyn, Fr. George and Fr. Joseph were concelebrant in the Eucharist.

After the Mass, the people spent about an hour wishing each other and expressing their joys and sorrows. All enjoyed the programme and welcomed the New Year with joy and new commitments. On 1st January, 2019 morning Eucharist was celebrated in all the substations. All the parishioners got the opportunity to thank God and welcome the New Year.
