 On 1st of February Rev. Fr. Victor Machado celebrated the Silver Jubilee of his Priesthood along with the students and the staff members of St. Joseph Boy’s Science Secondary School. Being the headmaster of the institution this celebration was apt to calibrate along with students. Day began with the Eucharistic celebration. Jubilarian Rev. Fr. Victor Machado was the main celebrant. School Manager Rev. Fr. Alwyn M. J. D’Souza, Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Hilary Lobo and Asst. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Jason Lobo were the concelebrants.

After the mass; during the felicitation program Mission members felicitated Fr. Victor on behalf of Mission and Mangalore diocese and Fr. Alwyn spoke words of appreciation. Teacher Adam Jack felicitated on behalf of teaching and non-teaching staff. Sr. Grecilda Cutinha UFS, Sr. Edleburga Monteiro UFS & Sr. Consolata UFS were present for the program. Students presented several cultural programs, Mrs. Leonarda Laghua proposed vote of thanks, the program ended with school anthem.
