Disaster Management Parish Team Meeting

Place: Mission House, SMAM, Kifaru

Kifaru & Kituri re the two villages of Mwanga district errected at the foot hills of Pare mountains; vitnessed the heavy rain fall during the month of April & May 2018. The rains caused huge flood in the two villages causing damage to Humen life, animals, houses, market place, shops, roads etc. In this very situation the pastoral team of Kifaru parish under the leadership of SMA Mission took the responsibility to sensetize the village people the causes for the floods and how to protect the village from the desaster. The committee was elected and members met the village and relegious community leaders and organised the avarness programs.
