Diocesan Synod Inauguration at Kifaru Parish

On Sunday 25th of August 2019, the Kifaru parishioners Inaugurated the year of 2nd same diocesan synod at Kifaru parish. The synod was inaugurated by adoring the Holy Bible and Holy cross. Mission Superior Rev. Fr. Alwyn M. J. D’Souza celebrated the Holy Eucharist and during the homily he spoke about the same diocesan 2nd synod. Later parish catechist Mrs. Leonardo Laghua gave more information on the diocesan synod and programs during the year. Diocesan representatives were present during this occasion, at the end synod prayer was recited. Parish council members organized the day’s liturgy and Kifaru Govt. Secondary school students conducted the melodious choir.
