Place: RUPERT Children Home, Kifaru

On Monday 26th of August 2019 the donors of RUPERT children home; Ms. Marilena & Ms. Akhila from Italy visited the SMA Mission Tanzania. They arrived at Kilimanjaro International Airport at noon and RUPERT Director Rev. Fr. Joseph Rodrigues and Rev. Fr. George Crasta received them at the airport. Around 5pm in the evening the guests arrived at the RUPERT campus.

Children of RUPERT children home were eagerly waiting to receive the guests. Mission Superior Rev. Fr. Alwyn M. J. D’Souza welcomed the guests in the campus and children representatives welcomed them with garlands, followed by in procession they entered the RUPERT home. In the beginning children sang the prayer song followed by prayer and anthem of RUPERT children home. Students and staff members of RUPERT home introduced them to the guests followed by Fr. Joseph gave warm welcome to the guests. Ms. Marilena thanked all for the warm welcome and she distributed the gifts to the children. At the end Mrs. Leonarda Laghua spoke on behalf of parishioners and thanked the guests for the gift of RUPERT, afterwards guests departed to the parish house.
