On 27th of February 2020 Ms. Shruti Patel, program officer at Biovision Africa & her colleagues visited SJS Organic Centre for Excellence. They were surprised to witness the development activities and experimental works carried in the field of organic farming and livestock.

During the meeting Rev. Fr. Alwyn M. J. D’Souza, director of SJS organic explained about objectives of SJS. Ms. Shriti shared about biovision and how it is helping the organic farming sector throughout Africa. She mentioned currently biovision is supporting SAT an organic farm in Marogoro and ‘Mkulima Mbunifu’ a monthly magazine on organic farming in Tanzania. Further she mentioned biovision will be happy to collaborate in the future activities of SJS in the field of organic training to the farmers and in the field of research and documentation.

During the farm tour Mr. Martin & Mr. Prashanth explained them various activities taking place in the SJS. It was a fruitful visit and discussion.
